Just wondering if anyone has used this website? Want to make sure it is legit and safe. My purchase is close to $200 so I don't want to make a mistake by ordering off this site.

I also have ordered from here. For big and small orders..I like it cause if u have coupons u can use them on the site. And as Happy Hour said it's great cause if u have a small ordered u can ship to store and not get charged shipping

I ordered some gifts the first week of December and I'm sure they arrived in 5 days! I was very impressed with how quick they were, especially at Christmas!

You're generally pretty safe ordering online from sites associated with large, well-known, brick and mortar retailers like Chapters. It's the smaller online only sites you might stumble across you need to be a bit more cautious about. At a minimum you should look for these two things:  
 
1. Is there a phone number and physical address anywhere on the website? Stay away from any site that only has an e-mail for contact or post office box address.  
 
2. When you go to the page to submit a payment look for a little lock icon by the sites url address in your web browser. This shows they are using some kind of encryption to protect your information.  
 
Obviously these two criteria aren't a guarantee but it's at least a minimum starting point of what to look for.

Have you ever ordered from Bookoutlet.ca? It might not have every book that you are looking for, but there are great discounts on the new (overstock) books and sometimes fantastic sales on top of that. Shipping is very good. Customer service is excellent if you have any problems. I have been very pleased with them.  
 
I went through Caddle.ca when I ordered from Bookoutlet both times, and got $5 cash back each time through a special offer.

I always order my books online! Indigo has an app to that works great! If you sign up for email as well it lets you know when they have free shipping days no matter what size your order is! I've gotten some damaged books and they replace damage items no questions asked, and free shipping back.

I believe if you shop through airmiles.ca, you can click the links to various online stores like Chapters/Indigo and Amazon.ca to get air miles. Haven't done it yet as i always forget, but I've noticed it on the air miles website
