Has anyone had to serve time on weekends in brandon? May be a possibility for me, wondering what to expect.

personally I would not do it again.  
 
I received a 90 day sentence. due timing with work I only received 2 days per w3eekend.  
 
that works out to 45 times you have to go in, instead of once.  
 
depending on population levels, you could get moved all over the jail.  
 
new friends every weekend.......lol

Ya I was worry about essentially having to go in and out 45 separate times and if they just put you in solitary or something for the weekend.

Going in for? Cuz ya know you will be asked by other inmates. Just remember snitch's get stitches.

murderers get? Specifically in female prisons, anyone know?

Was fine, went in years ago. Just took a big book to read every weekend, kept to myself, no issues, got credit for 3 days/weekend. Friday at 6, til Sun at 5.

Really doubt if they get to serve their sentence on weekends.

If you have receive a sentence that is less than 90 days, they can offer weekends (Friday-Sunday) in jail. You will have two choices, serve your 90 days straight or less or serve them on weekends (12 days a month) but remember, you will be going for 7 months or less ….. Something to think about. I hope the murder question was a joke. They don’t get weekend jails haha. Only if your sentence is less than 90 days. Good luck

I am wondering (hoping) that murderers get more than stitches while serving their time 24/7.

in their right mind would think a murder sentence could be served on weekends!

if you get 90 days.. Friday to sunday usually 7pm to 7pm..counts as three days...you are kept in a room either with other weekend people or by yourself.. you don't come out except for your time to have a shower or outside.. others are then locked up.. if the ones that are spending straight time come to your door they are told to step a way.. as you have connections to outside you or they do not get to interact with you. plus if you are in good standings you only do 2/3rds of your time....

never done weekend jail but altho someone pointed out that your sentence seems to last longer if it means you keep your job maybe well worth it imo

If you want to spend your weekends in jail for the next six months, go ahead. I know a few people who has tried and couldn’t follow through, ended up going to jail for 9 weeks instead
