    Just wondering wheres some good spots to go quading in westman area?? Rode the North and South Camp Hughes areas, but looking for more areas to ride.

    South camp Hughes

    How do you get to the south camp Hughes spot? I know there's a trail that goes from ninette to Belmont. An old railroad. I'm not sure bout where to load and unload. But I seen it on a past years ebrandon discussions. There's also lots of spots by Winnipeg.

    Riding in the Forrest reserve by Shilo. I've always called it Sprucewoods. Not as big as it was when I was a kid as the military has fenced off some of it but nice riding

    Just unload at the highways yard on the corner across from the gas station. The first few miles are very nice, after that it is quite bla, as it is across some fields and then along the ditch to baulder.

    I live and quad in the ninette area. lots of hills, water, creek beds, mud. I used to 4x4 and have done the camp hughs area as well as other areas. this is definitely the best area. pm if you need to be shown the area. I think of getting a sxs but the area is a little tight in the bush depending on which unit one has

    Is there somewhere in Baldur you could get a hot lunch and beverage to make the ride worth it on a Saturday ?

    yes there is. Café 23 has great food. Right on the main road through town, cant miss it.

    take the old hi way to carberry and turn south at first gravel road at the cemetery signs. follow to end of road and unload there. Best to ride with someone that knows the area or use a GPS as its very easy to get turned around. Also can be quite wet and muddy along the power line and Sewell Lake.
