Moose on the loose

Anyone else see the unique visitor to the West end today? We were surprised to see a young moose on the walking path on Pacific near our bay followed by at least 6 cops cars...lol
It looked pretty ragged and scared and I was just wondering if anyone knows how this turned out for the poor thing?

Several years ago there were two in JR Reid School grounds.

There was also a couple moose's running around the east end a few years back too.

Is the moose still on the run?

Hopefully they got him out of the city limits safely. Poor things follow the river and find a big surprise and get scared and bolt. There's a few between the city's edge heading Kemnay way so hopefully he gets back to his herd safely.
