I am kind of hoping he did not have mirrors, otherwise he should be held accountable for not driving with caution and using them. " |

mirrors, this may not of been visible to the driver. This was likely spilled from a large truck that would have a blind spot directly behind the vehicle. Remember if your driving behind such a truck, if you can't see the trucks mirrors, the driver can't see you. Judging from the paint line, it was spilling from the centre line of the truck. So by time the driver could see what's behind, the paint likely wasn't visible to him.
The driver was likely notified by another driver in the lane beside them at Park Ave. " |

would this be something like the size of a grain truck? I know driving one, using your mirrors there is a blind spot right behind you, but as you continue on and look in your mirror, you can definitely see a line of grain, if you forgot to close the chute. " |

but we a just guessing right now about what the driver saw. The driver was likely just checking for vehicles not a trail of paint.
And if that happened with a grain truck, you will leave a trail of grain before you notice as well.
I'm sure the driver is getting razzed by his co-workers, it shouldn't go beyond that.
These things can happen to everyone, no matter how perfect you think you are. Sh@# happens!!! " |

wow - you would think it was you, that was the driver.
**Just doing a comparison, and I did say it would take a bit to notice, as there would be a blind spot right behind. But, not that long of one, that is certain.**
Really, as for getting razzed, it can certainly go further than his co-workers, after all, we are all social media hounds that talk about anything. Edited by Brenda, 2017-07-24 20:07:11" |

Do you really want to take this to a level of harassment before your happy?
How petty can you get?

My first post was very nicely put and asking about comparisons, what type of vehicle, so I could think of what you would see out the mirror and how long before you would see it. There is no question you would see it, after the blind spot, easy as that. A comparison was all I asked about, to see if the driver was driving something with mirrors.
Then Trevor says "no matter how perfect you think you are shit happens. I never said anything about being perfect, and how do you think I know about seeing the trail of grain behind the grain truck? It happened to me on the farm.
Anyway, I was only doing a comparison. That was going to be the end of my discussion. One answer was all I needed - not the crap after the answer. It was a relevant question.
Truthfully, I do have many more issues to worry about than a stupid yellow line, actually many serious issues right now. So, I was reading this as an outlet to forget all the issues for a bit. But as I was reading, I kept thinking about the mirrors and the cautious driving of using them (knowing there is a blind spot), but not that long of one. Very nicely put in my first post.
carry on - I will deal with more serious issue's, thanks for making my night!
