Hi everyone. I have 2 gardening questions and I need some help. I have lived in "condo" type situations all my life and now I have a house in Brandon with a very large lawn. First question #1 I have brown spots all over how do I restore the grass, can I just rake and then plant some grass seed and then watch her grow. now to the flowers. I have a flower bed right under 7 large pine trees. I pruned the pine trees so that they are about 6 feet up but how do I get some kind of flower growth down there. I have been told that there are a few types of flowers that like dry, acidic soil but I no nothing of gardening and I feel that I am in way over my head. I just want a low maintenece lawn and garden.......PLEASE HELP ME I AM DESPERATE.
