Wheres best place to go for eye checkup? Like not just check up for glasses ? Do they do like full checkups like check ur retinas and for tears and stuff ? As can tell i dont go to eye doctor often lol but i want a full checkup cuz bad eyes run in family n do know i do need glasses or contacts? If u can i:nclude prices thatd b great too or just ur recommendation for friendliest/best eye doctor in brandon

Most thorough eye examination I have ever had.  
Not sure of price because I have Blue Cross coverage but between $95 and $135 I think

We've always gone to FYI in the town center. There always has been quite a screening process, eye photos, etc prior to even seeing the eye Dr which seems quite thorough. We see Dr Rust but I think they are all great there.

He is so nice. Been going to him for years and they do a thorough exam. He also can do follow ups from LASIK surgeries

would second caswell , gone to him for a long time , also had cousin who went there for many years and never prescribed glasses for him , that used to be unusual with optometrists , not sure how the other guys operate now.

Dr. Caswell or Dr. Ferguson from Eye Outfitters....you will never find anyone better!

See Dr. Beaumont at FYI. He's amazing. He's got a great personality and he's super honest with you. If you don't need new glasses, he wont try to sell you new ones. He's also always going to different conferences and things to stay current and to learn more and more in his field.

I think all optometrists sell eyeglasses, and all optometrists will tell you honestly if you need glasses or not. I've never had one tell me I needed glasses when I didn't, and often they'll tell me that my prescription has changed so little it's probably not worth getting it filled.  
 
We've also been using Dr. Beaumount. He works out of both FYI locations (Town Centre & the mall), he's excellent. They do a full eye exam with mapping, etc to monitor your eye health. When I had a couple of eye injuries he was great as well, explained things really good and put me at ease (I was very fearful of losing my vision). My kids (none of whom wear glasses) love him. My husband and I both see him too, we both wear glasses, my husband full-time, and I do occasionally/as needed which isn't often unless I'm spending lots of time in front of screens. Our lens don't always get changed with each visit.
