Hey! I am wondering if anyone makes those big Chunky knit blankets. I would love to buy one for my daughter for Christmas. Any help would be great

The wool along costs around 500. My daughter sourced it out.

Yeah, I don't know if you're going to find anyone locally who will make them. Most knitters I know pooh-pooh them as a colossal waste of fibre.

Etsy will probably be your best bet, but like the poster above says, be prepared to pay. The cheapest one I could find was about 150 pounds (not dollars), and it was 30x50 inches only (2.5 x just over 4 feet). Basically to cover a lap.

They have some. About $35. I couldn’t tell you what the quality is like but wish will refund your money if you aren’t satisfied!

These are made out of wool that has not been spun. The givers will not be all that long and won’t hold together very well. These blankets will fall apart.
