Ok, so the husband and i are looking at picking up a new television. We're looking at 40 inches or more size wise, and its confusing the socks off of me. Most that we're looking at say HDTV LCD television. So if we buy a television like that do we also need to pick up an hd receiver? (we have satellite, star choice) If we don't use an hd receiver will it effect the picture in a negative way? (like will it be squishy?) Now i'm Not really wanting to pay more on my satellite bill, and don't want to get the hd receiver. Do i need to in order to get a normal picture on it? or can i go without? Are all televisions 40" or above HD now? (I'm having trouble finding one that's 40" or more that doesn't say HD on it)
