Message Boards - Canadian versus American

Do you find a big difference?
I certainly do.
I frequent a group that has International sites and the American boards are very fast moving because of the higher membership, so I go there often.
The tone on that board and it's Canadian counterpart are like night and day.
I only speak for this particular group, but this particular US board is so rude and they seem to revel in it.
If the same question is asked (I did an experiment), in general, Canadians are so much quicker to honestly help whereas the US boards jump down your throat and will tell you you're basically an idiot.
It's very strange.
Having said all that, I will NEVER generalize and place people in categories, but I have noticed this.
Believe it or not the US board actually talks about how too sappy sweet the Canadian boards are and "they should get rude like us".
What are your own personal experiences?
