in a Long Island mans home. Anybody hear about that story?  
The man apparently died sitting up in his chair watching T.V. and he stayed there for more than a year before somebody found him.  
He was 70 years old and appeared to have died of natural causes. He was discovered last Thursday. He still had hair on his head and his face was still visible because of the low humidity in his home his body was pretty much well preserved.  
Neighbours said that they hadn't seen him for some time and thought that he was put in a nursing home or something as he was diabetic and partially blind.  
What perplexes me is how can somebody go missing in your neighbourhood and not wonder about it or investigate for that matter? What about his mail, if he was a senior citizen, he must have been getting a pension or something you'd think.  
Imagine sitting in front of the T.V. all that time with the set still running, wow, it must have been a good set.
