I am wondering if anyone can explain this to me or if they feel the same. I am wondering why ppl that are on assistance, get the same amount of money for gst cheques that other ppl do when they work and make more money?? I have made a greater amount of income than some ppl i know on assistance, and their gst cheques, are larger than mine, when i was working. Assistance is government funded, and gst is based on how much money you make right? well these ppl are "already" recieving government money so why would the government give them more money for not doing anything???? not posting this to be rude or demeaning, but i just don't understand.
