So I was in Brandon today with a school bus and parked in the lot at Timmies opposite C Tire. Got off the bus and walked to the entrance on that side and because there were vehicles parked in front of the door, I went to step on to the short section of sidewalk to the right of the door only to find it covered in spit and cig ends. For Gods sake I was not impressed why do people insist on continually spitting while they are smoking. I do not spit, unless I have a really bad chest congestion and then that is usually down the toilet or in some paper towel. If you don't like the damn taste don't smoke. There should be areas where it is banned, they do this in lots of places because believe it or not it is a health hazard. People and/or kids are dragging that stuff on to the floor in Tims and from there god knows where did you drop something on the floor in there today and stooped to pick it up.  
One of the biggest cuses of food poisoning is Staphlococci and it comes from mucus membranes and passed on by Staff (of Restaurants or coffee shops ) who rub there hands around there mouth face and nose, or people who spit all over the damn place. Don't do it there do it some other damn place rant over

Farmers Feed the World said "We were at the hospital last week and with this warm weather you can really see what how gross smoking in. There were cigarette butts pretty much carpeting the ground 10 feet out of the doors. The hospital needs a no smoking on our property policy maybe the smokers would take the hint. "

They already have that, I believe employees arn't even allowed to smoke in their cars parked in the parking lot, problem is you have addicted smokers ending up in hospital that would have to go cold turkey, you see them all the time in wheel chairs some even with their IV on wheels in tow even in winter, who wants to be the one chasing and harassing sick people away from the door 24/7 dont know if you have ever quit smoking but they can be real grumpy without their cigarettes.

Who are admitted in the hospital are asked if they want the patch or something to help alleviate the content need to go out for one!

While spitting is truly gross & I don't want to see it either , The hospital grounds wouldn't be riddled with cigarette butts either if the workers weren't flushed out of their hide always with ashtrays & hidden from the general public . The new laws have made the grounds disgusting & in your face with almost no where to put their butts . It used to be tidy & unseen . Sometimes laws are detrimental to the general public .
