I'm an artist living in the westman area looking to gain knowledge how to go about producing prints.  
 
Questions I have are:  
 
How do I get my originals to digital format? Color correcting etc?  
 
Are there printshops that produces giclee prints in the Brandon area? Recommendation?  
 
Any helpful additional info are welcomed.

anything about producing prints, etc. but perhaps someone at Leech Printing could help you or at least provide some recommendations if they don't do this kind of print work themselves. Their website is http://leechprint.com/.

Maybe speak with somebody at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, located in the Town Centre. They may have some experience or know other artists who have experience in this area.

Leech printing is prob your best way to go if you want your prints to look just like your art if you're only option on Brandon  
Terry McLean used to get allot of his done there yrs ago .  

In order to have your art reproduced you will need to scan the image or take a photo of it. The higher the quality the better. You can adjust colors yorself if you like using photo editing software like photoshop or gimp.  
If you want to print up to 12x18 I'd look into the Lazer printer rout. If the size is above that then you will need to go the ink jet rout. The stick you will be wanting your reproductions done on will also determine the method of reproduction. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, really is helpful.  
Do you know of anyone in the Brandon area that scans/photo of originals? I'm not equipped to do it myself.  
 
When you say "stick" and method of reproduction, what does that entail?
