atta-girl said "I have an upcoming trip booked with Air Canada.
Since booking our flights in November, I have received multiple emails and texts from Air Canada about changes to our itinerary.
With all the noise in the media about problems with the airline, I wanted to speak with someone (I know, crazy idea in this day and age!) who could confirm my flights. They are not taking phone calls, and I cannot figure out how to create an online account... if its even possible.
My questions: is anyone else dealing with Air Canada right now? Are the problems about flight cancellations true? And how are people dealing with or contacting the airline?
Thanks! "
I've read a few news posts that have confirmed my experience when calling customer support at Air Canada. They cannot take your call because of high call volumes, they cannot put you in a queue, they suggest contacting them online, and do not call unless your flight is within 24 hours. Sounds like, "not taking calls". I can't even be put on hold, and I can't sit on the phone for 4 hours during business hours.
From what I'm hearing here, the best way to make contact is probably through email. Thanks for the comment!
