We are needing a lawn fertilizer and weed company to come in and apply 2 applications per year, preferably one in the spring and another in the fall. In the past we used Eco Green, but apparently they are no longer operating. We welcome any suggestions along with prices.

We also used Eco Green in the past and have used Absolute for the past 3 years with no problems. A 2 time application is 152.25. Call 724 - 0005

Had Absolute do ours for the past 2 years. Results weren't great, had weeds even though they sprayed for weed control.  
They also use spray fertilizer. We switched to Weedman this year, they use granular fertilizer and they do not spot spray their weed control.

We''ve paid for fertilizer/weed control in the past, but I''m doing it myself this year, now that the rules have changed regarding pesticides. Last year the paid applications were only marginally effective against the weeds in my lawn, and I ended up pulling most of them by hand throughout the summer.  
 
I also didn't really like not knowing when they were coming - there were times when I felt like the lawn could use some fertilizer because it hadn't been done in a while, but I couldn't apply it myself for fear of over-fertilizing if they showed up a few days later.  
 
I figure if I'm going to be pulling weeds anyway, I might as well have full control over the schedule and save myself a few bucks in the process.
