Noticed these at Home Depot and like the sound of them, but I see on the actual website for them that they're only supposed to be hardy to Zone 4 (ie not quite Westman):

Have known the big boxes to sell some stuff (such as some varieties of apple trees) that aren't suitable for our zone so not clear on if they're worth the effort here.... Is anyone trying them in the garden locally?

I was researching plants back in March. From what I could find at the sites I looked at, they would not have them in stock if they were not good for our climate. Also, if they are "not quite" our zone, you could probably cover them over the winter.  
 
On another note, I planted quite a few plants from Home Depot and they are doing great. They had a beautiful selection.
