    Planning on going to the Downs this weekend. Haven't been for many years, and wondering what is available for food. The website describes the clubhouse buffet, but I am wondering what else is available. Thanks!

    So is the dining room the only option now? Is there no concession stands, hamburgers and hotdogs etc? Pretzels? Ice cream?

    not unless there is a major race your out of luck, if they have them at all then.

    Huh, well that's a downer. I remember eating hotdogs and ice cream in the stands when I was a kid. Was hoping to have similar experience with my neices this weekend! Oh well, we'll have to go out to eat somewhere. The buffet is $35 each, a little pricey for six of us!

    There is a smaller concession on the main level that sells burgers, fries, poutine, hot dogs and pretzels. Typically pricy for being on site though. Ice cream was about $3.75 for a scoop if I remember correctly from last weekend. Probably better to still eat main course elsewhere then just grab a snack or treat when there. Enjoy
