I had a craving from my youth today so I went out and bought a hot air popcorn popper. I then went to safeway and got some Orville Redebacher's hot air popcorn. So here's the issue, be darned if the stuff that pops isn't so explosive that it shoots out half of the unpopped kernals. I seem to recall now, thinking back that this happened with Orville's when I was a kid to. So my question is, what do you folks use in your hot air poppers? Is there some local organic stuff that works good?
