    Today advertisement at Tim Hortons for a small ice cap was $1.  
    However, when purchased was told the cost of the ice cap was $1. U.S. which in the end was $1.87 with taxes.  
    Why is Tim Hortons advertising a product in US dollars! Are we not in Canada?

    That doesn't even make sense, the exchange rate is $1.00 US = $1.24 canadian, even with taxes that doesn't make sense it would be what? $1.40? Where did this happen OP? I'd complain.

    Your right but did come up as $1.57 plus tax.  
    However, why are we paying US funds for a product bought in Canada?

    Tim hortons is in the states now too....thete is one in grand forks not sure where else
