4 Cyl. Engine Repair

I'm looking at doing some minor/major repairs on my 94 Mazda MX-3. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of or has delt with anyone who specializes in 4 cylinder repair. I'm not opposed to dealing with dealer shops but would like to give a small guy a chance if he's up to it. Thanks for your input.
