Job Summary

Glendale Industries manufactures and installs truck-mounted tanks for a variety of applications. The Mechanical Install team is responsible for installing all the hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components of a Glendale tank. As a member of this team, the Lead Hand will be responsible for the installation of these components. Under the direction of the Tank Production Manager, the Lead Hand will direct the department to ensure safety, quality, consistency, and adherence to the production schedule. The Lead Hand will be expected to be hands-on and lead by example, providing mentorship and training to other team members. 

 

Requirements

Experience ? Strong mechanical background required. Three years in a similar role would be an asset but is not required. Training will be provided for the ideal candidate.

Education ? Training or certificate in any mechanical trade would be an asset but is not required.

Skills ? Applicant must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The applicant must be able to work in a collaborative team setting. The applicant must also be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.

Attributes ? Looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who works well with others and is willing to learn.
