SUMMER STUDENT POSITIONS
All positions are based at division offices in Minnedosa, Manitoba.
Maintenance Worker Assistant
Assist maintenance trades workers complete painting and building/grounds maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday (alternate Fridays off work)
- 8 weeks - July 6 to August 28, 2026
Mechanic Assistant/Detailer
Clean/detail all buses and assist mechanics at the Transportation Garage.
- 32 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday
- 8 weeks - July 6 to August 28, 2026
ALL applicants must:
- Be currently attending or returning to school in the fall 2026
- Work cooperatively as a team member
- Have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be physically capable of performing manual labour
- Maintenance Worker Assistant must have a valid Class 5 drivers license.
- A drivers license is not required for the Mechanic Assistant / Detailer position.
Experience or training related to job duties is an asset.
Rate of pay: $17.68 per hour (under review - may increase)
