The Brandon Flight Centre is a locally run non-profit aviation organization operating a flight school, a busy FBO and an aircraft maintenance shop supporting both in-house and external aircraft.

The successful candidate for this role would keep the front desk and financial records running smoothly with warmth and professionalism.
Students feel welcomed and greeted warmly while behind the scenes invoices are accurate, payments up to date and customer accounts are actively managed. You stay on top of the details without constant supervision because you know the personal touch matters and you help ensure the entire team remains organized, adaptable and financially current.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception & Customer Service
- Greet students and customers in a professional, welcoming manner
- Answer phones and respond to general inquiries
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
- Direct walk-in customers to the appropriate department
Finance & Administration
- Process invoices, receive payments, and issue receipts using QuickBooks Online
- Track and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Support month-end reporting and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain cash handling records and controls
- Assist with inventory tracking and internal recordkeeping
- Prepare and organize documents for leadership and board meetings
General Support
- Maintain organized files and documentation
- Assist with basic office needs (supplies, equipment tracking)
- Support occasional communications (newsletter, website updates) or events as needed
- Handle confidential information with discretion
What You Bring
- Excellent customer service experience with a professional and approachable communication style
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solution focused attitude with a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Assets:
- Experience in a small business or non-profit environment
- Previous front desk or customer-facing experience
- Valid class 5 driver?s license and clear drivers abstract
- Valid first aide preferred
