MSP Manitoba Starch Products in Carberry, Manitoba is currently seeking full-time Production Operators to join our team! Our plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The successful applicants will work on a rotating schedule which includes 10 and 12 hour day and night shifts, so you only work 7 out of 14 days each pay period!
Compensation and Benefits:
? Starting wage: $23+ per hour depending on experience
? Reach up to $30 per hour after 12 months (quarterly increases)

What you?ll do:
? Set up the production equipment and supplies before producing job orders
? Operate industrial vehicles to transfer finished product within the factory and between buildings
? Work with the PLC system to monitor production and troubleshoot issues.
? Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
? Perform regular equipment preventive maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality
? Monitor waste production streams
? Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
The successful candidate will possess:
- 1+ years? experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex systems, equipment, and processes
- Available to work 10 and 12 hour shifts on a 24 hour, 7 day per week rotating schedule
- The ability to work alone on night and weekend shifts is required
- The ability to work in varying temperatures
- The ability to lift and carry up to 25kgs, walk and stand on concrete for long periods of time (with breaks), and be comfortable with heights
- A strong work ethic with the ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
- A positive, collaborative attitude and approach to work
- Strong computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
