Summer Programs Coordinator - FT May-Aug term
Position: Summer Programs Coordinator; Full-time term position (May 4 - August 21, 2026)

Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba is accepting applications for a Summer Programs Coordinator. The successful applicant will coordinate the Sun Fund for Kids program, which provides camping experiences to children in the Westman area who otherwise would not be able to afford to go to camp from May 4, 2026 to mid-June and will coordinate activities for families for the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre's Summer Program from mid-June until August 21, 2026. The successful applicant will be responsible for the matching of Sun Fund camper referrals to available camping resources; communicating with camp personnel, referring agencies, social workers, and parents; managing budgets; completing administrative requirements; and implementing a variety of activities for families who take part in the Summer Program at the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre. The wage will be $16.60 per hour. The successful applicant will work 36? hours per week; hours of work are generally Monday to Friday; however, some evening and weekend flexibility may be required in July and August. The successful applicant must be willing to obtain a Manitoba Class 4 driver's license.
Qualifications:
- As per Canada Summer Jobs grant funding and Agency policy, applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age;
- Experience with children and families is considered a definite asset;
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Valid Manitoba Driver's licence with the ability to obtain a Class 4 Drivers license;

Additional Information:
- Successful completion of a Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Records Check (including vulnerable sector), Prior Contact Check, and a Driver's Abstract Check is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for any services charges incurred for the Criminal Record Check; the Agency will pay for the other three security checks.
