Position Type: Full-Time
Sioux Valley Dakota Nation is seeking a motivated, organized, and community-minded Gaming Center Manager to lead the daily operations of our gaming center. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, business management experience, and a passion for creating a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day to day operations of the VLT Gaming Center
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and overall business performance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Submit bi-weekly timesheets and complete required administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba Lotteries regulations and all legal requirements
- Monitor VLT equipment and coordinate maintenance
- Support event planning, marketing, and advertising initiatives
- Oversee bingo licensing distribution and card sales
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Business Administration Diploma or related post-secondary education (degree an asset)
- Proven experience in business management and staff supervision
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Must provide a clean criminal record check and child abuse registry check
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
