Experienced construction foremen and labourers
K&J Construction is now accepting applications for skilled and experienced construction foremen, supervisors and laborer?s and site supervisors. Knowledge of the commercial, agricultural, and residential aspects of construction would be considered an asset. We offer competitive pay, benefits and opportunities for advancement.
LABOURER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, skill saws, gas chop saws, pressure washers, impacts and other tools
- Clean and prepare construction site as needed
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually and with the use of equipment
- Travel out of town to work on rural job sites as directed by management
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more years of experience in construction
- Experience with concrete forming, pouring and finishing etc.
- Experience with PVC concrete filled wall form systems considered an asset
- Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends
- Ability to lift minimum 50lbs
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
