McCrimmon Snags Prime Coaching Job

Brad McCrimmon couldn't have landed in a better place.
The former Brandon Wheat King has been hired as an assistant coach with the defending Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings.
McCrimmon had spent the past four seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers but left that organization when he passed over for their vacant head coaching position last month.
McCrimmon's 18-year NHL career including a three-year stint with Detroit from 1990 to 1993
