Anyone else watch this? I don’t follow hockey but watch the odd playoff game. That was crazy

That was a wild one... would put it right up there with Matt Calvert's 3 short-handed goals in the same period against the Hitmen about a decade ago!

Who won? I was too busy lamenting the Leafs, again! to see or care about the other game

I feel bad because a player was injured but there was no penalty on that play where Vegas was robbed of the game. Ekin just did what every other center does. Play the puck when its dropped and then play the opposing player. To bad the Sharks center fell awkwardly and hit his head but there was no penalty on that play. In fact, if you watch the replay neither ref put an arm up despite the fact that both ref's were looking straight at the play. The play was whistled down by the linesmen because of the injury. A 5 minute penalty and game misconduct was called only after The Sharks complained about the injury and the ref's blew it.

What a frustrating scene that was. Vegas played 50 minutes of great hockey, had themselves a 3 goal lead and the refs changed the whole game.  
 
Wish good luck to the local guys still playing but I'm done with the NHL for the rest of the playoffs.

Vegas was up 3-0 until probably second half of 3rd period. Then took a 5 minute penalty, Sharks scored 4 goals in that second half of the period and Vegas another goal to make it 4-4 and then it went to OT and sharks won. (Hope I have that all correct) Vegas said in a news article today that losing that game was harder than losing the Stanley cup final last year.

And where was the situation room? They called into one game (not the game calling them) totake a look at something. Why not review a call like that in the playoffs that had such a crucial impact on the game. If they are going to play Big Brother, at least be consistent!

Just as bad was the terrible call in the previous game. Those incompetent referees called a penalty on the Sharks in overtime. That terrible call allowed the Sharks to score a short-handed goal just 31 seconds later to win the game. If those stupid officials had not called that penalty on the Sharks, there would not have been that short-handed winner, and Vegas could have won that game and the series. Clearly Vegas was robbed in that game, too.

1st of all the refs saw blood and it was caused by a Vegas player on the San Jose player. They don’t have a review and idk y they kicked out the refs for the rest of the playoffs and pls don’t tell everyone that the league has contacted you. (Vegas) I mean in other games such as St Louis they had a double minor penalty against one of the best pp the jets and they killed it off. I mean that has got to be the worst pk I have ever seen you have MAF in net how do they score 4 ? I think we should all stop harping about the penalty and talk about how horribly they killed it off. Nobody is talking about the pk they are all just beefing about the refs.
