We cut the cable last year near end of NHL season and had a hard time finding NHL games after, really the only thing we missed about cable. What's a good recommended app we can get that shows NHL games? We have roku and subscribed services currently are disney/prime/netflix/discovery+ just incase there's a channel impeded in these I happen to be missing!  
 
I dont mind paying for an app that has the games I just want one thats reliable(heard NHL channel has some serious quality issues?) And ideally lower cost the better.

I've tried these android boxes in tha past that say everything's free and they all ended up being such a hassle to get working constantly freezing and just costing me way more in the end plus countless hours trying to find a show that works.  
 
I will look into sports net thanks. If anyone has sports net what games are you getting? Looking at sportsnets site it says tsn has wpg jets rights in this region so wondering what teams you do get? If it only ends up being Toronto ill just wait for the few games cbc had to offer if they have any this year.

I've used NHL app in past and works good. Can watch live. Or restart game if you jump on late. And can go back and watch games.  
 
Sportsnet and tsn package opens up more tv options (baseball, hockey, curling, football) where NHL app just hockey.

Looks like it'll have to be sportnet tho it sounds like they have serious video issues from some of the reviews. Nhl live is no more and directs you to subscribe to sportsnet to stream games. Tsn would have been number one but I'd like more than just jets games.

Nhl package from nhl dot com gets you all the games except the jets. Not cheap but it works well. To get the jets you can subscribe to tsn.

nhl live / game center is no longer available in Canada you need to order sportsnet now to watch NHL games. It is a bit of a hot topic for some people as now you can't travel internationally and watch as sportsnet only works in Canada supposedly.

So some reason I decided to give tsn a shot and it is garbage. Only get the jets and to stream to my roku I have to mirror off my phone and video and sound is awful. Can those with sportsnet share what teams they are getting games for in manitoba and how streaming quality has been?

So with Sportsnet you'll get all the Canadian teams to varying degrees. They have some jet's but tsn has most of them, otherwise you get the national broadcasts (hockey night in Canada early/late games) and then other Canadian games, some of which are blacked out. This is with the standard SN subs:cription for $149 a year. I just got a deal to get premium for $199 for a year and I'm able to watch just about any game I want, last night I watched Detroit and Minnesota with the Detroit home broadcast and then I watched the Seattle game later on. Honestly if you don't care about ALL the games, just download the CBC Gem app, it's free and you get both Hockey Night in Canada games every Saturday. You don't get much value for hockey on TSN besides the Jets home broadcast.
