I haven't looked into what's available locally recently, but when I researched e-bikes last year, the brand I kept coming back to was Rad Power Bikes. At the time, they had upgraded many of their bikes to use higher-quality LG or Samsung battery cells, which was a big selling point for me.
They also seem to have a stronger support network than a lot of online-only brands. If you're in larger provinces like BC or Ontario, they even offer delivery and assembly services in some areas.
That said, it's worth noting that I live in Westman, so it's hard for me to say whether the ownership experience is as good here as it appears to be in provinces like BC or Ontario. I also haven't actually bought one yet, so I can't provide any real hands-on feedback.
My plan is still to eventually pick up a RadRunner Plus the next time I see it on a really good sale.
If you're interested, there are plenty of Canadian reviews of Rad Power Bikes on YouTube that are worth watching before making a decision.
The one piece of advice I see mentioned fairly often is to order a few spare tires and inner tubes when you buy the bike. Some of their models use less common tire sizes, so replacement tubes and tires may not always be readily available.
Anyway, I don't know much about bikes or e-bikes, so take everything I've said with a grain of salt.
