Last year's defending Memorial Cup Champions make their only regular season visit to the Keystone Centre this season (Wheat King fans wouldn't complain if they had to see them a few more times in the spring)
We will find out what this Wheat King team is made of tonight. If they are to contend for a Memorial Cup this year and next, you can bet that how they play in this game will be used as an indicator of how ready they are to take that next step.
With a 0.947 save percentage and a 1.72 goals against average, the Chiefs' Dustin Tokarski has as ridiculous of stats as you'll see for a goalie in this league. You don't normally get numbers like that unless you're good, but he is no doubt also a beneficiary of the system the Chiefs play.
California-born Mitch Wahl is the top offensive thread to watch for on the Chiefs. Wahl is a second round pick of the Calgary Flames.
The Chiefs are coached by former Wheat King Hardy Sauter
