N.H.L.season observations.
4/12/2009 at 7:22 PM
The N.H.L. regular season have just come to a close. These are a couple of observations.
Only 3 players got over 100 points: Malkin 113, Ovechkin 110 and Crosby 103.
Ovechkin is the only player with over 50 goals. He had 56.
With the league making a few rule changes to open up the game to allow more scoring, I am baffled why the scoring remains so low.
I long for the days when Gretzky and Lemieux would light up the score sheet most every night.
Would you like to see more scoring? If so: what should the league do to change things?
