Balsillie to move Coyotes to Southern Ontario?

Just breaking in the last couple of hours...
The Phoenix Coyotes have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy and Blackberry CEO Jim Balsillie has an offer in to buy them and move them to Southern Ontario.
No matter what, it would have to get NHL approval.. but in light of the bankruptcy this one sounds like it could get interesting.
I'm not sure what Gretzky's involvement would still be with the team, but his hometown is of course Brantford... not far from Blackberry headquarters in Kitchener/Waterloo.
I heard on CBC that there's a petition where Canadians can express their support for us getting a 7th team in the country, but can't seem to find a URL. Did anyone catch it?
