Wheat King draftee Gotovets taken in KHL draft

Came across this little tidbit today..
The Kontinental Hockey League out of Russia held its draft a couple days ago, and Dinamo Minsk took last year's Wheat King import draft pick Kirill Gotovets 18th overall.
Hes desribed as "a very promising defenseman who played in the American High School leagues and skated in the training camp for the 2009 WC with the men team."
Should be taken with a giant grain of salt, as top NHL prospects like Taylor Hall and Victor Hedman were taken in the same draft.. albeit in later rounds.
Gotovets is expected to be taken in the NHL draft later this month and I'd imagine that if he came all the way over to North America to play US High School that he intends to follow the road to the NHL and not the KHL. Here's hoping we see him in a Brandon uniform this season.
