Wanting to purchase a sea doo

We are wanting to purchase a used Sea Doo. However, we don't know too much about them. Does anyone have any info on size,etc that we should look at. Would like to use it to pull a tube for the kids, and just pleasure riding. The budget is likely $2-3000.
