ACC hockey team...The mens one...

I got a question about this...I'm going to Parkland campus next month. Parkland campus is in Dauphin... Its still ACC, how would this work if I want to try out for this team?
Like where does this team practice?
Does the Parkland campus got their own team? I tried finding info on this tonight but no luck.
I'm not worried about how competitive it is... I'm worried about if I buy new equipment it won't be any use.
