It looks like Bruce has released his third annual "Best of the East" Poll... a compilation of answers from around the Conference that is a lot of fun to read.
Below are Wheat Kings that made the top 3 in various categories, with ranking in brackets...
Best Player: Brayden Schenn (3rd)
Top Rookie: Toni Rajala (3rd)
Best stay-at-home defenceman: Travis Hamonic (3rd)
Best offensive defenceman: Travis Hamonic (1st. High praise to be ranked highly as both a stay-at-home AND offensive D)
Best drafted pro prospect: Brayden Schenn (2nd), Travis Hamonic (3rd)
Best 20-year old: Matt Calvert (1st)
