Gold medal game to be broadcast on the Keystone big screen!
2/26/2010 at 6:45 PM
Just getting ready for tonight's Wheat King game and I've been told that IF Canada wins their semi-final this evening against Slovakia, we will have the chance to experience a first for Brandon... a live televised event on the Westman Place jumbotron!
The Keystone Centre is planning to show Sunday's gold medal game at a cost of $5 for people of all ages.
Doors will open at 1:00, and folks will be allowed on the ice for a family skate. At 1:50 the lights will be dimmed and the big game will be put on the big screen.
All concesssions will be open.
If this event is well-supported, apparently the Keystone will looking into doing something similar for a host of other events.
Go Canada Go!
