Why is it that they can build skatepark but can't build any ball diamonds in this city? We are being forced to play up on the hill and how long will that last? Besides the diamonds up there are horrible and something should have been done years ago, and now they are even in worse condition with all the construction that has gone on up there. I play in the Wednesday Slo-Pitch league and all are fees are is $45 for the year. Thats peanuts!! Why don't they raise there fees and show city council that we are willing to pitch in for some new diamonds. If we made fees at $300 at 40 teams thats $12000 for one league. There is also a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday league as well that could also help out. $300 at 12 ppl per team is $25 a person for 18 games. Pretty cheap to play ball for a summer if you ask me. So come on Brandon lets get some ball diamonds so we can enjoy playing some baseball instead of playing on the pastures up on the hill. It's pretty sad when you can drive through other communities and they have excellent diamonds, and all we get is a chunk of pasture to play on. An absolute disgrace.
