Watching Sports Center this morning and they showed the Ottawa - Carolina pregame athems being sung. Of course the Canadian athem was being murdered (AGAIN). The singer wasn't even close. This seems to be an all too comman thing in the US and all we do is laugh about it. If the tables were turned and we sang the American athem wrong it would be world war III. The video clip was so short and quick most people won't even see it. If we murdered the American athem it would be all over the TV, radio,internet and god for bid the city it happened in would be bracing for an influx of reporters out for blood. A few years ago in the world series they hung the Canadian flag upside down and all we did was laugh. OH my gosh if the tables were turned could you just imagine. I quess what I am saying is that Remembrance Day was just the other day and our veterns went through hell to give us what we have today. We are proud to be Canadians when we win Olympic gold or any other sporting event in which win as a country. Why do we just laugh when the USA disrespect our country? I AM A TRUE CANADIAN AND I HATE BEING TREATED AS A LOWER CLASS PERSON BY THE BIG US OF A!!! I also believe it is disrespectful to the soldiers of today and of the past. IT IS A SONG GET IT RIGHT!!!!
