With the memory of Calgary's November come-from-behind victory in Brandon still fresh in their minds, the Wheat Kings will be out for a little revenge tonight against the rival Calgary Hitmen.
Tonight is expected to be the Wheat King debut of newly acquired forward Matt McKay. With Darren Bestland having been traded, we'll likely also be seeing new responsibility assumed but some of Brandon's up and coming young defense core. With Monday's trade deadline looming, depending on which rumours you believe we might be looking at other changes by the time the next home game comes.... which could potentially make this the last time to see some players in a Wheat King uniform if you're a believer in the suggestion that the Wheat Kings may make moves with an eye on the future between now and Monday.
I'll have lineups and scratches 30-45 mins before game time.
