Well the 13th season of the WWHL is done and in my opinion one of the most competitive years on record.
The Championship games were all one or two goal games. Congrats to West Fit Rangers and Eye Outfitters Jets and as well J and G Dynasty for winning their divisions.
Special thank you goes to my staff and suppliers:
Cam Harrison and Shelley Kokorudz for keeping excellent track of players stats and timekeeping.
Geoff Gregoire and our 30 on ice officials.
Adam Sobkow for a new bang up stats package that no recreational hockey league has in the world plus as well www.ebrandon.ca
Craig Ratz and Westman Communications for allowing us to have the WWHL All Star Game and playoffs on TV.
Pam and Patty at the Keystone Centre and all the staff and engineers.
Perry and the staff at the Sportsplex.
Susan Ewart at Ewart Insurance in Regina.
Michelle Hay and everyone at Big Bear
Brian Barnes and all his staff and partners at Source for Sports.
Doug Lindberg for trying to make all teams play a fair and balanced schedule.
Dean Stewart and the staff from Howling the Night Away for providing music at our playoff and All Star games.
Brittany McKenzie and Lindsay Baxter for winning the first ever WWHL Model Seach in September.
The local media such as Mike Jones and Keith at the Brandon Sun and Dan and Tyler and Bob Bruce at CKX and The Farm and KX96. Mike Stackhouse at www.prairiesportslink.com plus Mike Fraser at the Wheat City Journal. And Bruce at CKLQ and Star FM. Thank you guys for always trying to squeeze in scores and stats.

Plus the 20 league captains and 350 players that make up the WWHL. Without your support and feedback the league would be nothing.
Please feel free to submit to us your feedback and we will post it on line at www.wwhl.mb.ca
A few rule changes will be proposed for the 14th season of the WWHL:
Overtime will now follow the NHL shootout rules.
No Tier 1 or 2 Junior players can be rostered on Division 3 teams.
Expand into 4 Divisions.
To quote one of my friends “lots of moving pieces make this operation happen from day to day“ he couldn’t more correct as I am proud to say that this is one of the best leagues in North America. We have excellent media relations, games broadcasted on TV, All Star Games, complete team and player stats, player insurance protection, team and player discounts and various local business’s. Overall another great season and we look forward to working with you all in October.
