Quinton Howden - Number 1 in the WHL Draft

Big news for 15 year old Quinton Howden of Oakbank Manitoba. He was selected in the WHL draft today NUMBER 1 overall.
Portland had this pick the number one pick but couldn't come to terms with Luke Moffat who was being touted as the number 1 pick for months.
Therefore Moose Jaw made some deals that involved draft picks etc to trade up to get Quinton.
I will tell you over the past 15 years of being involved with Minor and Adult hockey you have never met such a classy kid and his family are the most genuine people you will meet.
Congrats to Quinton who has played in Brandon at the Victoria Inn / Maple Leaf Tournament of Champions and Source for Sports AAA Hockey Challenge.
