NHL Free Agency

All I have to say is Wow so far. Very surprising to see the Buffalo Sabres lose all three of Drury, Briere and Zubrus. Still, with their depth they may be the only team in the NHL that can lose three players like that and stay very competitive.
It hasn't taken the Rangers long to adapt to the new collective bargaining agreement. Rather than sign 30-somethings in the twilight of their careers, they got two very good players in their prime in Gomez and Drury.
Anaheim also comes out pretty well, adding Bertuzzi and Schneider (they're defense was already insanely good).
