Turtle Crossing Ball Diamonds

Has anyone been out to the ball diamonds at Turtle Crossing (formerly Curran Park) recently?
They are all in the process of being dismantled by the owner. It sounds like there aren't going to be any diamonds out there at all next year.
Does anyone else feel that this will be a tremendous loss for our city?
