Anyone know where there is an abundnace of frogs? obviously around river is a good spot to check, but anyone have any specific spots you've seen a pile of them jumping around?

Discovery Center has lots.

I haven't been this year yet, but when the Souris River below the dam gets low enough that all the sand bars can be walked on, on the South Side of the river if you walk along the river/sand bars you will find LOTS of frogs. I think it was September 2013 when if you didn't look exactly where you stepped, you would be cleaning squished frog off the bottom of your shoes... (Thankfully I only stepped on one, poor guy).

Chimo beach boat launch has a ton of them hopping around. There is tons of all sizes there

Head down towards Wawanesa and stop down along the river for a walk lots of frogs, crayfish and all sorts of bugs down there

There is a lot. Long ago in the 70's we had a lot of army worms and the following year there was a lot of frogs. Last year we had a lot of army worms and a lot of frogs this year. What a coincidence!
