Just moved to brandon. Wondering if there is any rec basketball leagues or something of that sort in the city.

There is a group of older guys that play at the Y Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. There is a senior men's league too. Starts October or November. Believe it can be found under brandon senior men's basketball league on Facebook.

Basketball isn't a sport that I'm very plugged in with myself, but just thought I'd throw in the suggestion of giving a classified ad posting under the "Teammates" category a try.

The guys who play at the Y are older than 25 as a general rule. That rule might have gone by the wayside however. Pick up ball, and it's checks. Your guy scores and you go off. The senior men's league is quite competitive and open to anyone over 18 I believe.
