For anyone following the alleged sexual assault case, how do you think it will go? I don't think it will make it to the Grand Jury.  
 
The accusers Mother really shot themselves in the foot with the hoax what she did. And now the case may not even make it to the Grand Jury to see if formal charges can be pressed.  
 
Some of the leaked DNA results, weather true or not, is apparently showing none of Kane's DNA below the waist. The mother was given the bag by the nurse to put a top the the daughter was wearing prior to going to the hospital. The top that the daughter apparently wore during the alleged assault. But by now, that top is contaminated and cannot be used as evidence.  
 
The Mother maybe trying to get the Rape kit called into question or dismissed from the case by making look to be tampered with since it's pointing towards no case against Kane. And then for their lawyer to suddenly quit because he couldn't trust what his clients were saying, making a big news conference over this evidence bag without checking with the police. But he still thinks Kane did it.  
 
If this turns out to be nothing but a bunch of lies to get a big payout from Kane as a settlement, Kane could go after them for defamation of character. He's losing many endorsements, was removed from the cover of NHL 16 and hurting his reputation.

Read a Sportsnet article and the uncontaminated top was picked up by police and put in a different bag. So the Mother still had the un-need evidence bag.  
 
But why hurt your daughters case and possibly get key evidence (rape kit) tossed?

And this is why I'm a big believer in innocent until proven guilty. Be interesting to see how it all turns out.

has turned into a guilty until proven guilty mentality. Emotion is playing a big role in these cases as well. If you pull on the heart strings of people enough, they will believe anything irregardless of any evidence.
